We focused on censorship and manipulation in this years' Film and dystopian literature. This course changed my perspective to see the society in a different way. I learned how dystopian fictions reflect current world. 

        Censorship plays a enormous role in most dystopian fictions, and perhaps it is one of the biggest controversy in our generation. It is also common on social media, magazines, and many forms of entertainment. Although censorship is a protection over people’s identity and private information, it could ultimately be harmful because it prevents people from acknowledging the truth. America values freedom and individual, but it is 2019, there are cameras everywhere. There are people watching us living and breathing.
